Steven Barrera serves as a Goalkeeper Coach for the California State Soccer Association-South's Boys ODP Program since August 2024 and as an Academy Goalkeeper Coach for the Los Angeles Football Club since September 2023. Barrera has been an Adjunct Professor at El Camino College since March 2018, teaching beginners and intermediate soccer classes as well as Futsal. Notable coaching achievements include assistant coaching the men’s soccer team at El Camino College, where Barrera helped guide teams to multiple championship titles, including a 3C2A Championship and National Championship in 2023. Barrera's extensive coaching experience includes positions with various clubs, including South Bay Surf Soccer Club and FC Premier Women, as well as professional playing experience for California United Strikers FC in the US Soccer’s 3rd Division. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from California State University, Los Angeles.
