Karen Ortiz currently serves as a Transfer Center Student Success Coach at Golden West College since August 2023 and as an Unclassified Paid Intern at Los Angeles Harbor College since February 2023. Previous roles include Business Operations Assistant at UCLA Undergraduate Admission during the summer of 2023, and various positions from Assistant Director to Admission Assistant at UCLA Undergraduate Admission from September 2016 to March 2023. Additionally, Karen worked as a Bruin Advisor at the UCLA Early Academic Outreach Program from September 2017 to June 2019. Karen Ortiz is pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling with a College Counseling Option at California State University-Dominguez Hills, expected to be completed in May 2024, following a Bachelor of Arts in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA, conferred in 2019.
