Margo Thole has extensive experience in various roles, primarily in the field of development and philanthropy. Margo currently holds the position of Vice President of Philanthropy at Los Angeles Jewish Health since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Development at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law from July 2016 to September 2022. Margo also worked as the Director of Development at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles from June 2014 to July 2016. Before transitioning to the education sector, they held the position of Director of Development and Community Partnerships at Manhattan Beach Education Foundation from 2007 to 2014. Margo's earlier work experience includes working as an Attorney at California Appellate Project from 1996 to 1998, and as an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office from 1991 to 1996. Margo started their career as a Litigation Associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP in the Los Angeles office from 1989 to 1991.
Margo Thole obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from New York University. Margo then went on to earn a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from New York University School of Law. Additionally, they are a member of the California State Bar.
