Philip Chang

Philip Chang serves as the Director of Data Strategy at the Los Angeles Lakers, a role held since 2017, where responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives in roster construction, coaching, software development, and data insights. Previously, Philip was involved with the National Basketball Association from 2016 to 2017, serving as Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Specialist within the Basketball Strategy and Analytics Group, focusing on various research projects aimed at enhancing game analysis and fan engagement. Prior to that, Philip worked as an Analyst at BlackRock from 2015 to 2016, conducting due diligence and evaluating hedge funds for investment. Philip holds a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University.
