Ariel Bustamante is an experienced professional in capacity building and organizational development with a comprehensive background in training, coaching, and advocacy. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Capacity Building at the Los Angeles LGBT Center since October 2016, Ariel has progressed through various roles, including Capacity Building Manager and Training & Coaching Manager. Responsibilities encompass staff development for over 100 individuals, policy analysis, program design, and compliance while integrating social impact strategies. Previous roles include contracted trainer for the California Department of Social Services and Education Justice Advocate for the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California. Ariel has contributed to numerous community partnerships and projects aimed at advancing education and social justice, has presented at various conferences, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Self-Designed Inequality & Oppression Studies from Green Mountain College.
