Joey Espinoza-Hernández is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in yoga instruction and community advocacy. Currently, Joey serves as a Yoga Instructor at The Tree Yoga Cooperative and People's Yoga while also directing policy and community building initiatives at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Joey founded The Chisme Chakra, emphasizing a unique approach to yoga that embraces queer, body-affirming practices. Previous roles include various positions at the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California and Delta Lambda Phi Social Fraternity. Joey holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and LGBT Studies from UCLA.
