Mary Case has extensive experience in supporting LGBTQ survivors of domestic violence and related crimes. Currently serving as Manager of the Legal Advocacy Project for Survivors at the Los Angeles LGBT Center since August 2016, Case oversees the provision of holistic legal support services and works towards institutional changes in the court system. Previously, Case contributed as an Interim Manager and Domestic Violence Consultant at The LGBTQ Center Long Beach, where an LGBTQ-specific Domestic Violence Program was developed. Additionally, from August 2006 to December 2015 at The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center, Case coordinated the STOP Violence Program, managed multiple grants, chaired advocacy boards, and created innovative group models aimed at empowering LGBTQ survivors while differentiating between aggressors and survivors. Case has also delivered numerous workshops and training sessions across California and nationwide.
