Michael Vitale

Michael Vitale serves as Vice President, Production & Producing Director at LA Phil since November 2015, previously holding roles such as Director of Production, Associate Director of Production, and Production Manager. With a decade of experience as a freelance stage manager across various theaters from January 2005 to November 2015, Michael has contributed to over 50 productions, encompassing musical theatre, plays, dance, opera, orchestral concerts, and large-scale events, fostering a supportive environment for artistic teams. Additionally, Michael has taught as adjunct faculty at California State University, Fullerton, and Pomona College, where courses focused on stage management and theatre management. Educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Stage Management from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor's degree in Directing and Theatrical Production from California State University, Fullerton.
