Candice Mack is an accomplished library professional with extensive experience at the Los Angeles Public Library, currently serving as the Administrator for System-wide Young Adult Services since December 2007. Candice oversees a team of over 80 young adult librarians, managing training, community outreach, and programming aimed at supporting the diverse young adult population in Los Angeles. With a strong focus on youth services, Candice has coordinated significant grant funding, developed educational events, and represented the library at national conferences. In addition to this role, Candice has held several leadership positions within professional organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the American Library Association and chairing the William C. Morris Award Committee. Candice is also an adjunct instructor at UCLA and has contributed to the development of library curriculum through advisory roles. Candice holds a Master of Library and Information Science from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside.
