Madeline Peña

Associate Director, Engagement & Outreach Department at Los Angeles Public Library

Madeline Peña is the current Associate Director of Engagement & Outreach at the Los Angeles Public Library. Prior to their current position, Madeline was an intern at the San Francisco Public Library researching best practices for online video sharing and working on the implementation of the library’s new video channel. Madeline has also worked as a marketing and sales assistant, preparing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports, as well as weekly advertising performance reports for print, radio, and TV advertising. In addition, Madeline has been a consultant for new Spanish books and a TV production assistant/coordinator.

Madeline Peña has a Master's in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University, a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Universidad APEC, and a Technical Degree in Graphic and Advertising Design from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña. Madeline is also certified from Lynda.com in UX Foundations: Information Architecture.
