Nancy Olmos

Young Adult Librarian at Los Angeles Public Library

Nancy Olmos has a diverse and extensive background in library services, currently serving as a Young Adult Librarian, Children's Librarian, and Substitute Librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library since October 2018. From January 2016 to the present, Nancy has also worked as a Substitute Librarian at the Long Beach Public Library. Prior experience includes various roles at the University of Southern California from September 2007 to April 2022, including Head of Electronic Resources & Continuations, Head of Metadata & Content Management, and Library Assistant. Nancy's early career includes a position as a Student Library Assistant at UCLA from 2004 to 2005. Nancy holds a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas (2009-2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Chicana and Chicano Studies with a minor in LGBT Studies from UCLA (2003-2007).
