Eric Newman

Eric Newman is an accomplished editor and producer with extensive experience in various media roles. Currently serving as Editor At Large for the Los Angeles Review of Books since March 2016, Eric contributes feature articles and reviews focusing on Gender & Sexuality, Politics, and Humanities. As a co-host and producer of The LARB Radio Hour, Eric has engaged with notable guests from diverse backgrounds. Eric's previous roles include development writer at DIGA Studios, segment producer at Woodcut Media, and producer at AYR Media, where Eric managed projects across true crime and scripted podcasts. Eric holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from UCLA, with research centered on queer belonging in American literature.
