Vanessa 'V.M.' Braganza is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in law and literature. Currently serving as a Davis Polk Leadership Fellow at Columbia Law School, Vanessa is organizing a Voting Rights Summit aimed at addressing critical voting rights challenges. In addition to participation in the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law and the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team, Vanessa is an active contributing writer for several notable publications, including Smithsonian Magazine and Los Angeles Review of Books. As a Lead Curator for a Harvard Library exhibit and an Exhibitions Assistant at Houghton Library, Vanessa has demonstrated expertise in curatorial roles. Vanessa holds a PhD candidate designation in English Language and Literature from Harvard University and has earned multiple degrees in Renaissance literature from prestigious institutions, including the University of Cambridge and the University of Virginia. Vanessa is also pursuing a Doctor of Law at Columbia Law School.
