Elizabeth Burr

Elizabeth Burr is an accomplished Art Director currently working at the Los Angeles Times since July 2023, focusing on The Envelope magazine and assisting with Image magazine production. Previously, as Creative Director at Callisto Media from 2021 to 2022, Elizabeth co-led a team that produced 800 book titles annually while emphasizing effective communication and stakeholder alignment. From 1997 to 2020, Elizabeth served as Design Director at the San Francisco Chronicle, enhancing vision and creativity across digital and print products, and managing multiple magazines. Additional roles included Senior Art Director and Designer, showcasing strong leadership and collaboration skills. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from San Jose State University and a certificate in Data Visualization for Storytellers from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
