Jenny Chavez has a diverse work experience, starting in 2002 as a Field Representative for the California State Senate. Jenny then moved on to be a Legislative Director for the Office of Councilmember Janice Hahn in the City of Los Angeles. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Legislative Representative for the Port of Los Angeles. In 2008, they became the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Office of Councilmember Janice Hahn. Jenny later transitioned to the role of Chief of Staff for Councilmember Joe Buscaino in 2012. Jenny is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Stakeholder Relations for the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board.
Jenny Chavez holds a B.A. in Political Science & International Relations from the University of Southern California. Jenny also obtained a J.D. in Law from the Boston University School of Law.
