Mary Gallagher

Mary Gallagher, CMP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the tourism and convention industry. Mary started their career in 2000 as an Assistant Director of Sales at the Hyatts of San Jose, where they served until May 2002. Following that, they worked at the San Jose Convention Center and Cultural Facilities as the Director of National Accounts from 2002 to 2010. Mary then joined the San Francisco Travel Association as the Director of Citywide Accounts-Eastern Region from May 2010 to August 2014. Most recently, they have been working at the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, initially as the Director of Eastern Region, Convention Sales from September 2014 until July 2022, and currently as the Vice President, Convention Sales, Eastern Region since July 2022.

Mary Gallagher, CMP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from James Madison University, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. Prior to that, they attended W.T. Woodson from 1981 to 1985, though no degree or field of study is provided for this period.
