Deborah Edler Brown is an experienced Adult Education Instructor with the Los Angeles Unified School District since November 2007, specializing in subjects such as Multi-Level ESL, English Composition, and American Literature. As the founder and instructor of Writing from the Well Workshops since 2005, Deborah creates safe environments for writers to explore their creativity. Additionally, a ghostwriter for private clients since 2001, Deborah handles content interviews and research. An accomplished author, Deborah co-wrote "Grandparents as Parents: A Survival Guide to Raising a Second Family" published by Guilford Publications in 1995. With a background in journalism, Deborah has contributed to various online and print publications, served as a contributing editor for the Ellis Martin Report, and worked as a freelance reporter for Time Magazine between 1988 and 2006. Deborah holds a BA in Creative Writing from Brown University.
