Omolara Abode

Omolara Abode is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in video and digital media, as well as education. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Los Angeles Video Artists since January 2023, Omolara leads a collective dedicated to promoting immersive experiential video art. Concurrently, Omolara works as a Mathematics Teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District, since March 2021. Previously, Omolara held various roles in the video and media industry, including positions as a Encoding Engineer and Data Asset Coordinator, and freelanced as a video and digital media artist since 2006. Omolara's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television from UCLA and a Clear Teaching Credential in Mathematics from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
