Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation
Karen Moultrup is an experienced professional in event coordination, marketing, and volunteer management, with a career spanning multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Volunteer Coordinator at Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation since June 2017, Moultrup manages registrations for a variety of programs and provides support to community elders. Previously, as an Event Coordinator at API Global, Moultrup played a pivotal role in organizing corporate conventions and managing member accommodations. Moultrup's tenure at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts involved marketing management, strategic planning, and event coordination. As the Executive Director of Corporate Events at TCN Worldwide, Moultrup collaborated with commercial real estate firms to arrange large-scale conferences. Early in the career, Moultrup served as the Assistant to the Dean of Arts and Sciences at Santa Clara University, focusing on documentation and academic support. Moultrup holds an education from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation
Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation was formed in 1956 by the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District. Commonly known as “LGS Recreation”, the department was re-organized by the three local school districts as a separate joint powers agency to ensure the effective and efficient provision of community education and recreation services to the communities of Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno and Mountain communities.
