Patrick Rills

Patrick Rills has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Patrick currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Product at Lose It!, a role they have been in since April 2023. Before that, they were the Vice President of Product at Lose It! from December 2020 to April 2023. Prior to these leadership roles, Patrick worked as an Engineering Manager at Lose It! from October 2019 to December 2020, where they managed the workload and career growth of the iOS developers and designed and implemented new features in the Lose It! iOS and watchOS apps. Patrick also served as a Principal Software Engineer at Lose It! from January 2018 to October 2019, where they were responsible for overall iOS app stability and implementing new features.

Patrick's previous experience includes being the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Overtime Software, where they co-founded the company and led the development of technology solutions for football teams in the collegiate level. Patrick also worked as a Developer at Sparkhound, where they assisted in the transition of large clients and fostered relationships between the clients and the new development team.

Earlier in their career, Patrick worked as a Writer for the entertainment section of The Advocate newspaper website and hosted a movie review television show. Patrick also held the role of Chief Technology Officer at I.T. by Design, leading a team of developers and architecting custom software solutions for various clients. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Strategic Business Solutions and as a Network Systems Administrator at Louisiana State University.

Patrick Rills obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University. Patrick attended the university from 1999 to 2002.
