JB Buse Jr.

Chairman & CEO at LOTH

J.B. Buse, Jr., serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at LOTH. For more than 30 years, J.B. has led LOTH’s success through his entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt solutions to meet ever-changing business needs. A life-long resident of Cincinnati, J.B. firmly believes in the importance of actively contributing to the betterment of their communities. J.B’s involvement with several non-profit boards and organizations has highlighted the importance of tackling their community’s greatest challenges by working together, and from multiple angles. He has served on the board of the American Heart Association (AHA) as chair until June 2020 and was the Executive Chair for the AHA’s annual Heart Ball for nearly a decade. He also has been an active member of the Cincinnati Regional Business Committee’s (CRBC) Government Affairs and Cultural Assets steering committees. It was in working with these organizations that J.B. became acutely aware of how the opioid crisis has become an urgent priority in their community. His advocacy for this issue led to an opportunity to become a member, and co-chair of the Business Community Committee, for Hamilton County Addiction Response Coalition. With this coalition, J.B. is actively enlisting other local businesses to join in the efforts to solve the crisis of addiction. At LOTH, he is a champion for this mission as well. In 2020 J.B. sponsored several programs and initiatives to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of mental illness. He was recently featured on this M+A Architects podcast to discuss this important topic.
