Prior to this, Pepe served as a mechanical framer and acoustical ceilings foreman at Acousti Engineering Company of Florida from June 2010 to September 2013. Pepe's career in the construction field began as a subcontractor specializing in metal framing and drywall from May 2000 to June 2010 with several companies. Pepe holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Seminario Interdiocesano Guadalupano in Mexico, where studies were completed from 1995 to 1998, and attended Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo from 1993 to 1995.
