Bongjae Lee

Bongjae Lee has extensive work experience in various roles within the chemical industry. Bongjae started their career at UC Santa Barbara as a Visiting Research Scientist from August 2009 to February 2014. Bongjae then joined Samsung Cheil Industries as a Research Engineer from July 2003 to February 2015, and later served as a Senior Research Engineer from March 2015 to January 2016. In 2016, Bongjae Lee joined LOTTE chemical as a Senior Research Engineer, where they worked until January 2019. Bongjae then transitioned to the role of Research Development Team Lead from February 2019 to December 2021. Currently, they are employed at LOTTE chemical as a Business Strategy Specialist, starting from January 2022.

Bongjae Lee's education history begins in 1994 when they enrolled at Seoul National University for their undergraduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Bongjae completed their studies in 2001. Following this, they pursued further education and enrolled in Seoul National University again from 2001 to 2003 to obtain a master's degree in the same field. Finally, Bongjae went on to pursue their doctoral studies at UC Santa Barbara from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a PhD in Materials.
