Safety & IT Specialist at LOTTE chemical

Jiwon Seo has a diverse work experience, starting from 2018 as a volunteer at the Crab Festival in the City of Port Angeles. In 2021, they worked as a Student for Sustainability member at the University of Arizona, where they collaborated with a large group of students to research and secure funds for water bottle refill stations on campus. They also served as a POD Volunteer and participated in the Design Thinking Challenge, where they developed a program to address excessive screen time for children.

In 2021, Jiwon Seo was a Journalist for the Korean American Student Association, conducting interviews with women leaders at the University of Arizona and creating posts about their experiences. They also worked as an InTech student worker at the University of Arizona Digital Learning, where they drafted documentation for university instructors and students and tested new features of educational tools.

In 2022, Jiwon Seo became an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Department of Computer Science at The University of Arizona, assisting instructors in delivering computer science courses and providing one-on-one support to students during office hours. They are currently working as a Safety & IT Specialist at LOTTE chemical, where they create workplace health and safety plans, inspect equipment, and propose solutions for safety issues.

Jiwon Seo's education history is as follows:

Jiwon Seo attended Peninsula College from 2018 to 2020 and earned an Associate of Computer Science degree in Computer Science. After that, from 2020 to 2022, Jiwon Seo pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Arizona.

In addition to Jiwon Seo's academic education, they have obtained various certifications. In November 2021, Jiwon Seo completed courses on "Getting Started in Google Analytics," "Overview of Data Visualization," "Create Charts and Dashboard using Google Sheets," and "Working with BigQuery" through Coursera.

Furthermore, in May 2022, Jiwon Seo completed the course "[Google UX - 1] Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design." In June 2022, Jiwon Seo completed the courses "[Google UX - 3] Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes" and "[Google UX - 4] Conduct UX Research and Test Early Concepts." In July 2022, Jiwon Seo completed the course "[Google UX - 5] Create High-Fidelity Designs and Prototypes in Figma."

Lastly, in May 2023, Jiwon Seo obtained a certification in "OSHA 30 General Industry Safety and Health" from the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at the University of Alabama.
