Thomas Metzger's work experience begins in 2000 when they worked as an Analyst at Bear Stearns & Co., specializing in the Real Estate, Gaming, and Lodging Group. Thomas worked on various M&A and financing projects in the gaming sector.
In 2003, Metzger joined Scientific Games as the Director of Investor Relations & Corporate Development. Thomas played a key role in investor relations and managed a successful campaign that resulted in five analysts initiating coverage with a BUY rating. During their time at SG, the company's revenue grew significantly.
Metzger then became the Head of Corporate Development at Camelot in 2009. After working there for a year, they moved back to Scientific Games in 2011 as the Vice President of Lottery Development. Thomas Metzger attended the NYU Stern School of Business from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & International Business. Prior to that, they completed high school at Riverdale Country School from 1992 to 1996.

In 2021, Thomas obtained a Lottery Retail License from the Colorado Lottery (in November) and The Florida Lottery (in August). Before that, in 2021, they obtained a Lottery Courier License from the New Jersey Lottery (in March).
