Hitesh Mehta Fasla Friba Faak Assoc. Aia

Hitesh Mehta is a distinguished professional in the fields of architecture and landscape architecture, serving as President of HM Design since January 1991, a firm known for its unique quadruple bottom line philosophy that integrates economic, environmental, social, and spiritual dimensions into planning and design. Hitesh has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University since March 2000, teaching Sustainable Tourism and Authentic Ecotourism. Notably, Hitesh was elected as the first African and Indian Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 2010 and is also a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Architects Association of Kenya. Further involvement includes board membership at the International School of Sustainable Tourism and the founding of the Global Ecotourism Network. Hitesh's educational background includes a Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nairobi.
