With over 17 years of experience at Lotus Capital, Hajara has significantly contributed to the growth of the Non-Interest Finance industry and Capital Market in Nigeria. Additionally, Hajara holds the position of Director at Lotus Financial Services, overseeing Shariah-compliant financial advisory services, and has acted as the financial adviser for the Federal Government of Nigeria's Sovereign Sukkuk issuances. As the Founder and Chairperson of LOTUS Bank, Hajara continues to innovate in the financial sector. Hajara holds a Master of Science in Finance from Durham University, a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from King's College London, and an MBA in International Management from the University of Exeter.
