Lolita Bell has a robust background in psychology and crisis intervention, currently serving as a Research Assistant and Student at American University since August 2019. In addition, Lolita is a Crisis Counselor for both 7 Cups and The Trevor Project, roles held since May 2022. Experience as a Patient Care Coordinator at Lotus Counseling Center since May 2021 and as a Stylist at francesca’s® since August 2020 further showcases versatile skills in client interaction. Lolita has been an active member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology since August 2020, and worked as a Teacher Assistant at Chabad Center of Sunny Isles Inc. from August 2019 to July 2021. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from American University (2019-2023), participation in a program at Tel Aviv University (January 2022 - August 2022), and a Doctor's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.

Our sessions move along quickly and our counseling style is warm, clear, supportive and full of feedback. We chose the name Lotus Counseling Center because of what the lotus flower represents...resiliency, creation and rebirth. The lotus flower's roots dig deep in the soil and push through in order to bloom!
