Leon Shields

Leon Shields is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and instruction across multiple sectors. Currently serving as President of the Smoky Mountain Gun Collectors Association Inc. and Director at Lenoir City Utilities Board, Leon also contributes as an Instructor and Deputy at the Loudon County Sheriff's Office. With a background in firearms, explosives, and rescue operations, as well as experience as a retired Instructor and Third Party Examiner for the State of Tennessee, Leon owns Instructional Concepts, providing training in various emergency response applications. Additionally, Leon operates Music City Speed & Nostalgia, specializing in vintage car collections. Their leadership roles extend to the Loudon County Fire Rescue as Director, and Leon holds significant positions on several planning and zoning boards, including Chairman of the Lenoir City Planning Commission and Co-Chairman for the Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
