Dave Ungrady

Dave Ungrady is a seasoned educator and media consultant with extensive experience in social sciences instruction at Loudoun County Public Schools since 2015. As the creator of the 34 + 1 Campaign, Dave advocates for the legacy of Len Bias, aiming to benefit youth through education on decision-making skills. As President and Founder of GoGrady Media, Dave provides a range of services, including public relations, content development, and life skills training through the Born Ready Project. In addition to teaching, Dave serves as a Professional Youth Soccer Coach with Bethesda Soccer and Maryland State Youth Soccer Association’s Olympic Development Program. An accomplished author, Dave wrote "Born Ready: The Mixed Legacy of Len Bias," praised for thorough research by Kirkus Reviews. Dave's journalism background includes contributions to The New York Times, USA Today, and editorial roles at Travel Channel and Universal Sports. A University of Maryland alumnus with a B.S. in Journalism, Dave has held various influential positions in the media industry since 1993.
