Melinda Shingler

Melinda Shingler currently serves as the Lead Mentor at Loudoun County Public Schools, a position held since August 2014, where support is provided to novice and veteran teachers through facilitation of meetings and classroom visits. Previously, Melinda worked as an English Teacher at both Loudoun County Public Schools and Simply Spellbound, the latter role also including event planning responsibilities. A diverse professional background includes experience as a stay-at-home mom with a wide range of responsibilities and technical assistance at CACI International Inc. Melinda holds a Master's degree in English and a Composition Studies Certification from Indiana University East, alongside a Teaching Licensure in English/Language Arts from Christopher Newport University and additional educational qualifications from George Mason University and the University of Phoenix.
