Corella Lumpkins CHC,CPC,CPCO,CDEO,CPB,CPPM,CPC-I,CCS,CCSP has extensive experience in the medical field. Corella began their career in 1995 as a Claims Adjudicator for the Maryland Department of Human Services. In 1997, they moved to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. In 2000, they became the Practice Manager for Internal Medicine Associates. In 2001, Corella took on the role of Senior Compliance Auditor for GW Medical Faculty Associates. In 2005, they were appointed as the HIM Associate Degree Program Director for Medtech College. In 2008, Corella was employed as a Senior Medical Auditor for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Manager, Coding Compliance and Training for the University of Maryland Medical Center. In 2013, they became the Director of Coding and Reimbursement for LifeBridge Health. In 2017, Corella was appointed as an Adjunct Faculty and Approved AAPC Instructor for Frederick Community College. Currently, they are the Manager of Coding, Compliance & Provider Education for Loudoun Medical Group, P.C.
Corella Lumpkins has obtained a Master of Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Southeastern University (Washington, D.C.) between 2004 and 2007.
