Dr. Ravi Iyer MD (Eye-yer) has a long and distinguished career in medicine. Ravi began their career in 1997 as the Founding Physician at The Iyer Clinic, an Adult Internal Medicine & General Practice Clinic serving the Fairfax & Loudoun County communities of Herndon, Reston, Sterling, Oakton, Chantilly, Ashburn, South Riding and Aldie. The Iyer Clinic has won TOP DOCTOR Awards at the National level and in Northern Virginia for every year since 2013. In 1997, they also became the President of Nova Health Mgmt & Research Group, PC. In 2010, they became the Principal Investigator & Director of Clinical Research at Iyer Clinic Research Center. In 2008, they became the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Reston Hospital, and then in 2012 they became the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Reston Hospital. In 2022, they became the Director of Clinical Research at Loudoun Medical Group, P.C.

Ravi Iyer MD (Eye-yer) has a comprehensive education background. Ravi began their studies in 1978 at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital, where they earned their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery - MBBS. Following this, they completed a Medical & Surgical Internship & Residency at the same institution in 1984-1985. Ravi then attended the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where they earned a Postgraduate Degree in Biochemistry in 1985-1988, and an MD (Biochemistry) in 1988-1991. Ravi then completed a Research Fellowship in Medicine at Harvard Medical School in 1988-1991, focusing on Oncology and Cancer Biology & Molecular Immunology. Ravi then furthered their studies with a Research Fellowship in Medicine at the MGH Cancer Center in 1988-1991, and at Children's Hospital & Dana Farber Cancer Institute in 1991-1993. Ravi also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medicine at Harvard Medical School in 1988-1993, focusing on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Finally, they completed their Residency Training in Internal Medicine at The George Washington University in 1993-1996.
