Alicia Nunez

Alicia Nunez, CPHR, is a skilled professional with extensive experience in human resources, workplace health, safety, and wellness. Currently serving as the Manager of Workplace Health, Safety & Wellness at Louis Brier Home and Hospital since November 2020, Alicia has a proven track record in attendance management and employee engagement. Previously, Alicia held the position of Health & Fitness Program Manager at YMCA BC from January 2006 to November 2020. Earlier experiences include roles as a Legal Specialist at Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos (EDUCA CNDH) and as a Legal Researcher at The Institute for Legal Research at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Educational qualifications include a Human Resources Management degree from Simon Fraser University and a Law degree focusing on Human Rights from UNAM.
