Pierre-Vincent Goualard

Pierre-Vincent Goualard is a structural engineer with a focus on naval architecture and mechanical systems. Currently employed at LOUIS DREYFUS ARMATEURS since January 2023, Pierre-Vincent specializes in the sizing of naval structures, armament components, lifting equipment, and onboard mechanical systems, and is responsible for drafting calculations in English and reviewing mechanical plans. Previously, Pierre-Vincent worked at Eiffage Métal as a mechanical study engineer, where responsibilities included calculations and management of mechanical, lifting, and metal framework studies using FEM and Eurocodes. Earlier experience includes a role at Chantiers de l'Atlantique focusing on the design process for naval structures and a research assistant position at Nanyang Technological University, where Pierre-Vincent studied a flapping wing drone. Pierre-Vincent holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in maritime engineering from ENSTA Paris.
