Gustavo Pereira

Gustavo Pereira has a diverse work experience in the field of frontend development. Gustavo started their career as a Software Developer at Comil Ônibus S.A. in 2005 and then moved to Meta IT as a Software Developer in 2007. From 2008 to 2014, they worked as a Frontend Developer at TERRA, where they focused on performance and innovation.

In 2014, Gustavo joined Grupo RBS as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they contributed to the reconstruction of the Live and On-Demand video platform using HTML5 and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Gustavo then joined Louis Vuitton in 2020 as a Principal Frontend Architect, specializing in client and server-side application logic using cutting-edge frontend technologies.

Gustavo's most recent experience is with Valtech, where they held several roles. Gustavo started as a Senior Frontend Developer in 2015, became a Senior Frontend Lead in 2017, and then a Principal Frontend Lead in 2020. Currently, they are the Director of Expertise Frontend, responsible for managing and guiding a team of frontend developers. Gustavo also leads key projects and defines frontend stacks for clients.

Throughout their career, Gustavo has demonstrated strong technical skills in frontend development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and knowledge in Agile methodologies.

Gustavo Pereira completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões - URI from 2001 to 2005. Gustavo later pursued further education and graduated with a degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Web Development from Universidade de Passo Fundo between 2005 and 2006.
