Clay Omainsky is a seasoned communications professional with a knack for helping mission-driven brands say what they mean—and sound good doing it. He currently leads the communications team at the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS), where he shapes messaging that connects student and workforce outcomes to statewide economic impact while amplifying its position as The Home of Workforce Ready.

His career spans higher ed, historic preservation, and hospitality, including nearly a decade leading marketing for an iconic, multi-unit restaurant company based in Mobile. Whether writing, designing, planning, or pitching, Clay brings a sharp eye, a strong voice, and an unwavering sense of what works.

He holds degrees from Auburn University (M.A., English) and UNC–Chapel Hill (B.A., American Studies & Economics).
