Mitzi Hochheiser

Mitzi Hochheiser currently serves as the Medicaid Deputy Director, Chief Technology Officer, and Digital Strategy Officer at the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, leading IT strategy and overseeing over 340 information systems team members since November 2017. Previously, Hochheiser was the Chairman of the Board for Volunteer Louisiana from July 2016 to June 2022, where the commission facilitated AmeriCorps and volunteer initiatives in the state. Earlier roles include serving as the CEO Financial Action Plan Program Director and Enterprise Corporate Delivery Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, responsible for strategic alignment and project management. Hochheiser's experience also includes a significant tenure at Trover Solutions in various VP roles relating to healthcare payment integrity and data mining, and managing training and quality assurance at Healthcare Recoveries, Inc.
