Rachel Dunaway possesses extensive legal experience, currently serving as Section Chief of Case Administration, Assistant Special Litigation Counsel, and Assistant Attorney General at the Louisiana Department of Justice since September 2020. Prior to this role, Rachel held positions as an Associate Attorney at Long Law Firm and Wray & Pierce, L.L.P. Additionally, Rachel was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review at Southern University Law Center while also working as a Research Assistant. Judicial internships were completed at both the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida and the Middle District of Louisiana. Rachel's professional background is complemented by a Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center and prior academic qualifications including a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Psychology from the University of West Florida and UWF Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business, respectively.
