Hamed Babaizadeh, P.E., LEED AP BD-C, is a seasoned Bridge Project Management Specialist at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development since July 2017, overseeing various projects to ensure they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Previously, Hamed served as a Bridge Engineer for the same department and at Stantec, where responsibilities included structural design and analysis for transportation projects across Louisiana and Mississippi. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University and Amirkabir University of Technology, respectively. Hamed possesses expertise in software applications such as STAAD, AASHTOWare BrR/BrD, and AutoCAD, among others, and has a strong background in materials research and quality control from earlier roles in academia and construction firms.
