Louisiana Economic Development
Susan Bigner, EDFP, has extensive experience in economic development and finance, currently serving as a Business Development Officer at Louisiana Economic Development since September 2006, where responsibilities include assisting businesses with financial and tax incentives. Prior to this role, Susan was a Staff Accountant at the Louisiana Economic Development Corporation from November 1995 to September 2006, managing GAAP financial statements, the loan portfolio, and venture capital investments while overseeing daily accounting operations. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management from Southeastern Louisiana University, completed in 1988, and also completed a program at the Venture Capital Institute in 2013.
