Shawn Welcome's work experience includes serving as the Director of Contract Compliance at Louisiana Economic Development. Additionally, they served as the Senior Director of Business Development, where they worked on business expansion and retention projects with large and unique companies. Shawn also had a role as the Associate Director of the Business Expansion and Retention Group, focusing on expanding and retaining businesses.
Shawn Welcome received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University, where they attended from 1987 to 1990. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Law degree (JD) at Southern University Law Center, completing their studies from 1991 to 1994.
