Maya Gore is an experienced program manager currently working at the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities since February 2022, where Maya also held the title of accounting coordinator. Previously, Gore served as a department assistant in the Mount Holyoke College Department of German Studies, where Maya designed promotional materials, updated engagement strategies for students, and tailored content for diverse audiences. During a research internship at the Education Research Alliance for New Orleans at Tulane University, Gore contributed to studies on the charter school system and developed data collection methodologies. Earlier in their career, Gore worked as a childcare provider for Ayusa International. Gore holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and German Studies from Mount Holyoke College and participated in the ERASMUS+ program at Leipzig University.

The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, the state affiliate for the National Endowment for the Humanities, is a non‐profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities to all residents of the state.
