Shantrell A. has extensive experience in leadership and strategic development within the non-profit sector, currently serving as Chief of Staff and previously as Vice President of Strategy and Accountability at the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities since November 2014. In these roles, Shantrell A. formulates and implements organizational growth strategies in collaboration with stakeholders, utilizing strong project management skills. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Strategic Initiatives, Co-Director, and Director of Operations for PRIME TIME Inc., where strategic initiatives were also a focus. Shantrell A. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge, completed between 1999 and 2003.
Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities
The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, the state affiliate for the National Endowment for the Humanities, is a non‐profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities to all residents of the state. Guided by the vision that everyone can realize their full potential through the humanities, LEH partners with communities, institutions and individuals to provide grant‐supported outreach programs, literacy initiatives for all ages, publications, film and radio documentaries, museum exhibitions, public lectures, library projects, 64 Parishes magazine, and other diverse public humanities programming.
