LOUISIANA KEY ACADEMY
Andrew Donald-Davis is an experienced educator with a strong background in communication studies. Currently serving as a Teacher at Louisiana Key Academy since November 2020, Andrew previously held the position of ESL Instructor at Louisiana State University from August 2018 to December 2020. Additional experience includes working as an Administrative Assistant for Kidcam Camp Programs, where Andrew facilitated the hiring of camp counselors and provided customer service to parents, and as an ACT Prep Instructor for MasteryPrep, educating high school students on standardized test preparation. Earlier roles encompassed serving as a Communication Assistant at Hamilton Telecommunications, aiding deaf and hard-of-hearing clients, and as a Researcher/Supervisor at LSU, overseeing operations at the Matchbox Interaction Lab. Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field, both from Louisiana State University.

LKA serves the 1 in 5 children with Dyslexia in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Our teachers are trained to teach students with dyslexia to read and write as fluently and as close to grade level as possible. LKA teaches students math reasoning and provides hands on experiences in Science, Social Studies, Art, Drama, Engineering, and Physical Education. LKA makes this a priority through a commitment to teacher development in the science of dyslexia and a commitment to developing a loving community for students, parents, and staff.
