Louisiana Legislative Auditor
Leslie Normand is a seasoned financial auditor with extensive experience at the Louisiana Legislative Auditor since May 2006, holding positions as Financial Audit Manager, Financial Senior Auditor, and Financial Staff Auditor. Prior to this role, Leslie interned at the Tax and Financial Guidance Center from October 2005 to May 2006, assisting in the preparation of various tax returns under the supervision of CPAs. Leslie earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 2007, following a Bachelor of Science in Accounting obtained from the same institution in 2006.

Our mission is to foster accountability and transparency in Louisiana government by providing the Legislature and others with audit services, fiscal advice, and other useful information. The Legislative Auditor is one of the largest public accounting practices in the State of Louisiana and certainly one of the largest employers of certified public accountants. However, in addition to accountants, the Legislative Auditor also employs public administrators, attorneys, actuaries, computer analysts, Information Technology auditors, and many other individuals who offer the public a broad spectrum of skills.
