Makayla Stephens

Makayla Stephens, B.S, currently serves as a Performance Auditor at the Louisiana Legislative Auditor since September 2023. Makayla has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated since October 2020. Prior to the current position, Makayla worked as a Customer Relationship Coordinator at Nordstrom and as a Service Experience Specialist at lululemon, where responsibilities included leading customer initiatives and managing product merchandising. Makayla also has experience in education as an Educator with Teach For America and in legal roles as a Summer Legal Intern at both Bark&Co and The Scion Group. Currently, Makayla is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Marketing at Louisiana State University, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Southern University and A&M College.
