Brent Lewis serves as the Secretary of the General Staff for the Louisiana National Guard since March 2020, coordinating command group operations and advising on administration and staff actions. Brent's early career includes teaching and coaching within the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Academic qualifications encompass a B.S. in Secondary Education from Louisiana State University, an MHA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Arkansas Grantham, along with multiple certifications in hazardous materials response and military operations planning.
