Lewis Sanders is an accomplished law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Special Agent in the Violent Crimes Unit at the Louisiana Department of Justice since March 2016, Lewis has also been a dedicated member of the Louisiana National Guard since March 2015, holding the position of Sergeant First Class and serving as the First Sergeant of the 792nd Chemical Company. Previous roles include Lieutenant at the Ponchatoula Police Department, where supervision of uniformed patrol shifts was a key responsibility, and a District Service Manager at UniFirst Corporation. Further experience includes serving as Sergeant/Deputy Sheriff at the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Lewis holds a high school diploma from Ponchatoula High School and has pursued further education at Southeastern Louisiana University and Northwestern University.
