Michael Poche has extensive experience in government affairs and military operations. Currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs for the Louisiana National Guard since March 2016, Michael is responsible for strategic relationship management and policy communication with various stakeholders, including Congress and state agencies. Previous roles include Legislative Director and State Training Officer for the Louisiana National Guard, where Michael focused on legislative liaison and training management for over 11,000 Guardsmen. Prior to this, Michael served in multiple capacities with the U.S. Army from 2008 to 2016, including Legislative Liaison to the U.S. House of Representatives and various command positions involving operational logistics and project management during deployments. Michael holds a Master of Science in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
